Dress Exhibition – Announcers Needed

We are still in need of two announcers for our upcoming Dress Exhibition to be held on January 3rd from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

Remember that this DOES count towards your volunteer hours and the shift could be split if you are only able (and willing) to do one hour.

Announcer responsibility is to announce each skater by name and play their music. Very similar to the rink monitor responsibility.

Please contact Beth McBride if you have any questions or if you are interested in helping out on the night of our show.

Test Session / High School Competition: Winter Weather Update

We have been working so hard to prepare for our Test Session and High School Competition set for tomorrow at the Willet.

Our plan is to move ahead with the event, as planned, as long as our judges are able to get here. We have three flying in this evening and one driving. I will update you as soon as we confirm they have arrived. Since the club is running this event, we are not affected by the school district cancelling activities for today and tomorrow.

Reminders- masks are required. Please help us set a good example. Concessions will be available. Locker rooms will NOT be open, please dress accordingly. Thank you so much to all of our volunteers. This event would not be possible without you.

I will notify the club via email and Facebook once I know more. Fingers crossed!

Jill

Test Session / Red Panther Classic: Volunteer Signup

Our annual Test Session/Red Panther Classic High School Competition is next weekend, December 11th! There are still volunteer opportunities available. In order to make this day happen, we have had to fly in three judges. We really need help getting these judges to and from the Central Wisconsin Airport on Friday and Sunday. Please consider volunteering to drive. We also have a few spots open for Results Checker, Playing Music, and Cleaning-up.

Synchronized Skating Committee: Members Needed

The Synchronized Skating Committee is looking for new members! There are tasks available on this committee that can count towards your required volunteer hours. This committee meets, as needed, via Zoom. If you have specific questions about this committee or are willing to join, please email Melissa Fletcher at tmmifletcher@gmail.com.

Our club relies on our dedicated volunteers. Please consider offering your time and talents to our skaters.

Volunteers still needed!

As you know, the club relies heavily on families to assist with the many opportunities we provide to our skaters.  Please consider volunteering for one of our open positions. If we cannot find volunteers for these positions, we may have to look at eliminating some of our fundraisers next year. If you rely on fundraising to offset your skating fees, please consider offering your time to make sure we can continue to have these opportunities available. Three Board members have volunteered to take on additional responsibilities so that we can continue to offer our SCRIP and Butterbraid fundraisers, along with our annual apparel order. The remaining positions are still in need of volunteers:

2022/23 Volunteers Needed

The Crystal Ice Figure Skating Club is seeking volunteers! You will work with the current coordinator, this season, to learn the position. You will then be the lead coordinator during the 2022-2023 season. Each position will fulfill all your volunteer hours.  You will still be responsible for fulfilling your 1 hour of time during the annual ice show (if your skater is participating).
