Spring & Summer Specialty Classes

Join us for some fun on the ice to enhance your skating talent! Collaboratively we have about 40 years of figure skating coaching experience, and we are ready to share some of our knowledge with you! We are offering a series of classes once per month this spring and summer. Each class will have a unique focus that will help develop and polish your skating skills.

The registration deadline is April 18. You can pick and choose which ones you want, or take them all.

Ice Show 2022: Volunteer Sign-Up / Updates

The Ice Show Volunteer Sign-Up is available here. Just a reminder that there is a $50 an hour fee for any volunteer hours not completed (4 hours for one skater, 6 hours for multiple skaters). Each family, whose skater is participating, must complete one hour of time at the ice show (2 hours for multiple skaters). Ice Show picture day hours do count towards your Ice Show requirements. All hours must be completed or paid for prior to being eligible to register for any Spring/Summer ice. If no Spring/Summer ice is requested, the fee will need to be paid before your skater is eligible for package ice in the fall.

February Updates / Roundup

Tonight’s (02/22) Learn To Skate has been canceled. It is rescheduled for Tuesday, March 8.

We are approaching the end of our regular season. Our last Sunday Package is February 27th. Our last Monday Package is February 28. Our last Thursday Package is March 3. We are working on our Spring Ice Schedule and hope to have that available in the next few weeks.

Reminder: Ice Show Pictures are this Saturday, February 26th. If your skater is unable to attend, they can pick up their costume at the rink during the first week of practices.

A club photo will be taken on Tuesday, March 29th at 5:00 pm in the Meeting Room at the K.B. Willett. This is right before the first Opening Number practice. All club skaters are invited to come. Skaters can wear club gear or competition dresses, and any medals earned this season!

Test Session / High School Competition: Winter Weather Update

We have been working so hard to prepare for our Test Session and High School Competition set for tomorrow at the Willet.

Our plan is to move ahead with the event, as planned, as long as our judges are able to get here. We have three flying in this evening and one driving. I will update you as soon as we confirm they have arrived. Since the club is running this event, we are not affected by the school district cancelling activities for today and tomorrow.

Reminders- masks are required. Please help us set a good example. Concessions will be available. Locker rooms will NOT be open, please dress accordingly. Thank you so much to all of our volunteers. This event would not be possible without you.

I will notify the club via email and Facebook once I know more. Fingers crossed!

Jill

Test Session / Red Panther Classic: Volunteer Signup

Our annual Test Session/Red Panther Classic High School Competition is next weekend, December 11th! There are still volunteer opportunities available. In order to make this day happen, we have had to fly in three judges. We really need help getting these judges to and from the Central Wisconsin Airport on Friday and Sunday. Please consider volunteering to drive. We also have a few spots open for Results Checker, Playing Music, and Cleaning-up.
