What is synchronized skating?

Synchronized skating is a team skating event that consists of various synchronized elements.

During the 2021-2022 season, the Crystal Edge Synchronized Figured Skating Team had two competitive levels. It is our goal to include a 3rd team this upcoming season to include skaters in Basic 4-6.

Our practices are on Sundays and include both on ice and off ice practice times.

We have various bonding activities and performance opportunities throughout the season.

No experience in synchronized skating is necessary prior to the synchro skills evaluation camp.

At the synchro skills evaluation camp, your skater will learn and better understand the fundamentals of synchronized skating. Your skater will learn how to skate as a team from the three synchro coaches; Liz Anderson, Cassie Tudor, and Meg Ries.

There will also be the opportunity for parents to learn more about synchronized figure skating and the basic rules given the the United States Figure Skating Association.
