Ice Show 2022: Dress Rehearsal / Show Reminders

Great job during tech rehearsal last night. All of your hard work this season is shining on the ice.

Just a few reminders going into dress rehearsal and the shows:

  • All skaters receive a free ice show program. If you have not picked up your skaters program yet, you will be able to do so either during Dress rehearsal tonight or when doors open for the Saturday and Sunday shows.
  • For those skaters who ordered a t-shirt for the show, you will be able to pick up your new one tonight during dress rehearsal beginning at 4:15. If you received your shirt already, you will need to bring it tonight to exchange for the new one. If you ordered a shirt and did receive it yet, we have it, so just come pick up your new shirt. Unfortunately, we cannot order additional shirts past the deadline.
  • Tonight, all skaters must be ready with their skates and costume on at 5pm to go through the Finale. Skaters are welcome to wear coats on the ice during that time as it can get cold. After going through the finale, we will run through the entire show in the show running order beginning with Opening Number. One night and two night soloists will skate their solo back to back with the one night soloist skating first if possible. Freestyle skaters (Chillin Like a Villain, Fireflies, Levitating Aliens, and Light Em Up) will utilize their changing/staging rooms beginning tonight.
  • Skaters will be seated in the bleachers again tonight and are able to watch the show. Once your skater is done skating all their numbers tonight, you are welcome to leave or watch the rest of the show. We will not be running the Finale at the end of dress rehearsal tonight, as we will run through it at 5pm.
  • All skaters must arrive at the rink at least 30 minutes prior to the start of Saturday and Sunday shows. Make sure you have all your costumes and skates prior to leaving home. Label items with names that you want returned if lost. Have your skater eat prior to the shows as food is not allowed in the staging rooms.
  • Specialty and Solo Skaters, please arrive for your warm up time prior to the shows. Soloists only warm up prior to the show that they are skating their solo for. Times are posted on the CIFSC bulletin board and the White board by the office.
  • We are still in need of some staging room volunteers for the shows. Please check the white board by the office and consider volunteering.

It takes a village to put on this show and we appreciate all who donate their time to help make this possible.

Thank you,
Katie Baeten
