Learn to Skate: Reminders / Skate Blade Care

Here are a few quick reminders as we head into the final weeks of Fall Learn to Skate.

Skaters should utilize the bottom bleacher to put their skates on. Keep skate blades only on the rubber floor or ice! Skaters should never walk on the bleachers, cement surfaces, or outside without proper skate guards on their skates. Be sure to wipe blades dry after skating to prevent rust from forming.

Ice Show: Theme & Tryout Information

2024-225 Ice Show - Animation on Ice

I am looking forward to another exciting Ice Show season displaying the amazing hard work and talent our skaters have.

This Year’s Ice Show themed Animation On Ice will be April 5th and 6th 2025.

As members of the Crystal Ice Figure Skating Club, your skater has the opportunity to try out for additional numbers in the show, which include solo’s and specialty numbers (small group numbers). A CIFSC skater is eligible to skate in a large group number and the Opening Number without participating in ice show tryouts.

Tryouts will take place on November 10th from 9:00-11:30am at the K.B. Willett Ice Arena.
