The Seasons of Skating Team is excited to inform you of our April Seasons of Skating seminar.  This seminar will be held on April 1st from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm at the South Wood County Recreation Center in Wisconsin Rapids. We will be welcoming back our amazing Olympic coach, Tom Zakrajsek and more coaches will be announced as we lead up to the seminar. Sign up will be submitted online through our website and payment will be accepted through Venmo (@seasonsofskating).

January 2023: Congratulations! / Rink Monitor / Soloist Updates

Congratulations to all of our club skaters who have competed the last several weekends! It is incredible to see how hard they have all worked.

Soloist music for the ice show is available in the google drive located on the website. It will be downloaded onto the kindle by next week’s package. To access off the kindle you can:

  • connect to internet
  • go to the package music tab that is bookmarked in the web browser

or

  • go to cifsc.net
  • skating opportunities
  • package ice
  • music uploads

These directions are also written on the white sheet tucked in the bag with the Kindle. Soloists, please make sure your song is included in all of your packages.

Ice Show pictures will be March 4th. A schedule will be shared soon.

Salvation Army Bell Ringing

CISFC can make a difference in our community. Ring the Bell for Salvation Army, from Wednesday to Friday this week at Walmart from 4 – 8 pm. Please let us know who would like to sign up, date and time. Parents are also welcome to participate with their son/daughter.

Ring a bell… help change a life.

Wisconsin Rapids: January 2023 Camp / Test Session

The Wisconsin Rapids Figure Skating Club will be holding our Winter Camp January 18-21, 2023.   We will also be holding a test session at the end of our camp on January 21, 2023.  We have some great guest coaches and local coaches this winter and we are excited to be able to offer this camp to our skaters!  We have a new coach, Heidi Masse, attending our camp so I have included her resume.

2nd Annual Silver Blades Classic Competition (Eagle River), Mar. 4, 2023

Eagle River Figure Skating Club “Up North” in beautiful Eagle River, Wisconsin is excited to announce our 2nd annual Silver Blades Classic “at the Dome” figure skating competition to be held Saturday, March 4th  2023.  We have been working hard to make this an exceptional competition for all involved. Dress Exhibition: Jan. 2, 2023 / Signup Before Dec. 12

Hello Skaters!

The Crystal Ice Figure Skating Club will be holding their annual Dress Exhibition on Monday, January 2, 2023 at the KB Willett Ice Arena from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  For those new to the club, our dress exhibition is open to all club members who will be competing in a solo, duet, or synchro routine this season. Dress exhibition is an opportunity for a ‘dress rehearsal’. Family and friends are invited to watch. This event is free and open to the public. Concessions will be available.

Ice Show Tryouts: Event Information / Reminders

Below are some reminders regarding Solo Tryouts this Sunday, Nov 12 from 9am – 11:30 am. This tryout determines additional roles in the show including solos and specialty (small group) numbers. If your skater is not trying out this year but is considering it for future years, they are welcome to come and observe. Good luck skaters!
