Ice Show 2024: More Updates

Skaters, for the opening number practice Monday, 4/1 at 6pm, please feel free to wear your favorite onesie.

Parents, we have some fun HUGE props this year for the ice show. Once the Sunday show is done, we will be discarding them as we do not have room to store them. If you or anyone you know would be interested in them (after seeing them of course), please contact Melissa Fletcher (tmmifletcher@gmail.com or 715-496-1379). We don’t want to give away all the surprises, but think Lego people, Barbie photo booth, Mario Bros tube! These would make great decorations for birthday parties or any themed party. Not everything will be up for grabs as we keep the things we can to be utilized for future shows, but if you see something of interest, just ask!

Ice Show 2024: Show Week Reminders!

Below are some essential reminders before we begin ice show week. Please share the appropriate items below with your skater.

  • Volunteers: We still need volunteers for each show. Please consider signing up for one of the shifts posted on the bulletin board in the arena. Thank you to those who have signed up already!
  • Ice Show t-shirts: The shirts will be ready for pickup next week.
  • Rental Skates, Boot Covers: Rental Skates can be checked out from the Skate Shop starting April 1st. Skate must be turned in after the Sunday performance. Boot Covers are still available for sale in the arena office.

Board Members: Welcome New Members

We would like to welcome our newest CIFSC Board members:

  • Sarah Solinsky
  • Beckie Schultz
  • Kaylee Bruneau-Ries
  • Chris Tudor (1-year term… for now)

Their positions will officially begin in July.

We also want to mention the board members whose terms are up and have brought so much to the club over the years: Tanya Sondelski (4 Years), Melissa Fletcher (4 years), and Cassie Tudor (3 years). 

Congratulations to all of you, we’re so lucky to have you part of our club!

Coaching: La Crosse Area / College Students Needed

My name is Corry Marco and I am reaching out to Clubs that might have a senior attending college next year in La Crosse, Wisconsin! I had 3 wonderful young ladies as coaches from your club (Abby, Erin and Kendra) years ago. They were great with the skaters and we miss having our point girls as part of the staff.    

If you have anyone that might be interested, I would love to be able to be connected with them for next season!

Board Membership 2024: Vote Now

Each year, 3 board members have terms that expire and the club elects 3 new, or returning, members. A term on the CIFSC Board is 3 years in length. Duties within the board vary in commitment levels and are determined during the summer, once the new members are elected.

The 3 members up for replacement this year are: Shelli Dubay (President), Melissa Fletcher (Co-Treasurer), and Cassie Tudor (board member).
