Ice Show 2025: T-SHIRT Design – Deadline (02/25/2025)

Be the 2025 Ice Show t-shirt design winner! Submit your design via email to Katie Baeten at katherine.g.baeten@gmail.com by Tuesday, February 25th. Send a PDF of the design and include the skater’s name in the email subject line and ‘t-shirt design’ – example: Susie Q’s t-shirt design.

Skaters will vote to determine which one will be on the t-shirt. The winner gets a free t-shirt!

Ice Show 2025: OPENING NUMBER Registration Deadline

Registration ends Tuesday, February 25th. The opening number is available to all Freestyle skaters registered for a Freestyle Number in the show (Inspector Gadget, Kim Possible, Up, Sing).

We will have two rehearsals. You MUST be on the ice for both practices for the entire time to skate in the number.

  • Monday, March 24, 6:05 – 7:35pm
  • Monday, March 31, 6:35 – 8:05pm (Wear onesie)

Ice Show & Tryouts: Registration Open, Deadline Nov 9

Registration for the annual ice show will open on October 30th. CIFSC skaters that have minimally passed Free Skate 2 are eligible to try out for an additional role in the ice show. These roles include soloists and specialty skaters (small group number). 

Tryouts for additional roles in the annual ice show will take place on November 10th from 9:00-11:30am at the K.B. Willett Ice Arena.

Learn To Skate: Halloween Week & Ice Show Registration

We have one more class of Fall Learn to Skate to go! If your skater would like to wear a Halloween costume to the last class, please do! Instructors will give out a little treat after class along with skater evaluation forms. If you are unable to attend the last class, we will email your evaluation form to you. 

On Wednesday, October 30th registration opens for Winter Session Learn to Skate and the Ice Show. All Winter session Learn to Skate participants are eligible to participate in the Ice Show. We hope you consider being part of this excellent skating experience!

Learn to Skate: Reminders / Skate Blade Care

Here are a few quick reminders as we head into the final weeks of Fall Learn to Skate.

Skaters should utilize the bottom bleacher to put their skates on. Keep skate blades only on the rubber floor or ice! Skaters should never walk on the bleachers, cement surfaces, or outside without proper skate guards on their skates. Be sure to wipe blades dry after skating to prevent rust from forming.
