CIFSC and our Learn to Skate skaters are once again participating in the Stevens Point downtown Holiday Parade!
Here is how you can participate in this fun tradition! We will need parents and skaters to walk in the parade, and we need candy donations to pass out along the route.
Continue reading “Stevens Point Holiday Parade: A Family Tradition!”Midstate Independent Living Choices (MILC) in partnership with the K.B. Willett Ice Arena are proud to offer the 4th annual adapted ice skating event. This is a FREE event and is open to any individual with a disability, their family and/or caregivers.
The event will be held at the K.B. Willett Ice Arena in Stevens Point from 12-2 pm on Saturday, November 9, 2024. It will be an open skate where we will have sled hockey sleds to try as well as wheelchairs and walkers to encourage individuals of all ages and abilities to get out on the ice.

As a reminder, we were able to secure a few ice times in August. The sign-up is due July 24. The August sign up and payment will be processed through Entryeeze (https://www.entryeeze.com/). Dates with too few skaters will be canceled before the final schedule is sent out. A credit or refund will be issued to those skaters.

We are still in need of a concessions worker for Dress exhibition so if you regularly work concessions, please consider signing up that night.
We also need 2 people to rink monitor for the Dress Exhibition. We have a script for you to read and Liz Anderson is putting music in order by number (Thank you, Liz). These rink monitor hours count toward required CIFSC club hours. Please visit the volunteer site to sign up!

Looking for something fun for your skater to do during Winter Break? We invite them to spend the day with the Coulee Region High School Figure Skating Team! Skate, learn and enjoy on-ice and off-ice classes and activities including crafts, games and skills lessons.

Continue reading “Dress Exhibition 2024: Signup / Information”This Year’s Ice Show themed Toyland: A Skating Spectacular will be April 6th and 7th 2024.
As members of the Crystal Ice Figure Skating Club, your skater has the opportunity to try out for additional numbers in the show, which include solo’s and specialty numbers (small group numbers). A club skater is able to skate in a large group number and the Opening Number without participating in ice show tryouts.
Tryouts will take place on November 12th from 9:00-11:30am at the K.B. Willett Ice Arena.
