Each year, 3 board members have terms that expire and the club elects 3 new, or returning, members. A term on the CIFSC Board is 3 years in length. Duties within the board vary in commitment levels and are determined during the summer, once the new members are elected.
The 3 members up for replacement this year are: Shelli Dubay (President), Melissa Fletcher (Co-Treasurer), and Cassie Tudor (board member).
Please have all submissions entered by 3/17/24. A final board announcement will be email the end of March.
Nominees
Vote for your 2024 CIFSC board members by choosing 3 names from the 4 candidates listed below.
Kaylee Bruneau-Ries
My name is my Kaylee Bruneau-Ries and my wife is Meg Bruneau-Ries. I have been with the club since I have been together with Meg. When we first met, she skated with the club and after graduation she became a coach with the club. I have been able to experience the club through the skater’s perspective and now through the coach’s perspective. I work as an actuarial analyst at Sentry Insurance. My job requires me to be organized, fluent in technology and to work well on a team. My experience will greatly benefit the Crystal Ice Figure Skating Club.
Sarah Solinsky
My name is Sarah Solinsky, my husband is Paul, and our skater is our daughter Ellison Boenski. This upcoming year will be Ellison’s second year in the club, she has really enjoyed being part of the club this year, and we have learned so much. We are excited to continue to support her on her journey as a figure skater.
Professionally, I lead our training team and train staff how to use electronic medical records and how to apply it to their role.
If elected, I would love to be a part of the board as it means so much to our community and to our skaters. I feel I would be a great asset, bringing ideas, positivity and enthusiasm to the team.
Chris Tudor
My name is Chris Tudor and I would like to accept the nomination for the Crystal Ice Figure Skating Club Board. Natalie and Lauryn are skaters and our family has been a part of the club for 4 seasons. I have prior experience helping with youth through college sport organizations and served as a member of the Board of Directors for Plover Black Sox. I look forward in helping carry on the success of the CIFSC. Thank you for your consideration.
Beckie Schultz
My name is Beckie Schultz and Mora Schultz is my skater – she is just finishing out her 2nd year in the club. I feel like now having a few years under my belt to learn the ins and outs of the club will but me in a good place to become a part of the board. I have a lot of experience at ice rinks as I have both a hockey player and a figure skater.
