Biographical Info

Afton started skating with the Stevens Point LTS program at 4 years old, and never looked back. She has been an instructor with our learn to skate program since 2015, and was a coach for Crystal Edge Synchro for 4 years, before taking a break, then returning to coaching synchro in 2023. Afton is excited to work with individual students, and help to build their confidence and skills on the ice. She loves to share her passion for figure skating with her students, and strives to create a fun, positive atmosphere for skaters to grow and flourish on the ice! In addition to her USFSA coaching certifications, she also has a WI Emergency Medical Responder certification which includes basic life support such as first aid and CPR.
