Membership Information

According to the CIFSC Constitution and By-Laws, there are 4 types of membership available to the club:

 

JUNIOR MEMBERS - Junior Members shall be full members of the Crystal Ice Figure Skating Club.  A Junior Member is anyone who is eighteen years of age or younger or who has not graduated from high school.  The member must be a member of USFS and must have paid CIFSC membership fees.  Junior members may participate in all club activities and must skate at least one (1) freestyle package with the Home Club per season.

 

ADULT MEMBERS - Adult Members shall be full members of the Crystal Ice Figure Skating Club as their Home Club.  An Adult Member is eighteen years of age or older and is not currently enrolled in school.  Adult members must be a member of USFS, and must had paid CIFSC membership fees. Adult Members may skate a full package or skate as a "walk on" at practice times, only when space is available.

 

COLLEGIATE MEMBERS - Collegiate Members shall be full members of the Crystal Ice Figure Skating Club as their Home Club or Associate Member.  A Collegiate Member is anyone who is a high school graduate and is currently enrolled in a post secondary school.  Collegiate Members must be a collegiate member of USFS and must pay CIFSC membership fees.  Collegiate members may skate a full package or skate as a "walk on" at practice times, only when space is available.

 

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS - Associate Members shall have full membership with another Home Club but shall have membership with the Crystal Ice Figure Skating Club as a secondary membership.  An Associate Member must be a member of USFS and must pay CIFSC associate membership fees.  An associate member may skate a seasonal package or skate as a "walk on" at practices times, only when space is available.
